What is Enlightenment?

The word “enlightenment” is often used to describe higher states of consciousness and spiritual awareness that involve blissful experiences. Unfortunately, words alone can’t truly describe what enlightenment is because it goes beyond words. To truly understand what enlightenment is, you will need to experience it. As human beings, we still have a long way to go before we can experience the true states of enlightenment. Because of this, we will need to rely on words along with certain experiences to help us understand what enlightenment is.

Below is an inspirational quote about enlightenment that I thought of a few days ago while watching a YouTube video about spiritual science.

“Enlightenment is about finding truth (no matter how scary it is) and experiencing this truth into wisdom to empower you to take personal responsibility for your spiritual growth, so that you can achieve spiritual freedom and higher states of consciousness, and understand what love truly is.” ~ PL Chang
