The Essence of Life

Life is something we experience everyday, but yet most of us do not understand what it is. Our society has conditioned us to believe that life is something that is made of organic material that breathe, reproduce and grow, such as an organism. This definition of life is not very accurate. My quote below will give you a better idea of what life is and help you understand that the essence of life lies inside everything, even in the fabric of empty space.

“Life is not all about being able to breathe, grow, reproduce, and have a body made of flesh and blood. At the core of matter is energy; therefore, physicality is nothing more than a projection of energy. Nothing is truly solid, because when we break matter down to its fundamentals, it is made of only energy. This energy is consciousness and consciousness is energy; thus, energy is conscious of itself. When we break life down to the basics, life is about having consciousness and being conscious of our own existence. If we did not have consciousness, we would not be alive because we would not be conscious beings. Everything in the Universe, including planets, stars, galaxies and the four elements (fire, earth, air and water) are alive but they exist in different levels of liveness. The answer to are we alone in the Universe has already been solved, because we were never alone in the first place.” ~ PL Chang

Mother Earth is a conscious living being that has evolved beyond what we can comprehend. She has evolved so far ahead of us that she can sense all of our thoughts and feelings all at the same time, including the thoughts and feelings of mammals, fishes, plants, insects and microorganisms. Now that is beyond amazing!
