The following three paragraphs do a good job explaining what transhumanism is. They are extracted from NickBostrom.com.
Transhumanism is a loosely defined movement that has developed gradually over the past two decades. It promotes an interdisciplinary approach to understanding and evaluating the opportunities for enhancing the human condition and the human organism opened up by the advancement of technology. Attention is given to both present technologies, like genetic engineering and information technology, and anticipated future ones, such as molecular nanotechnology and artificial intelligence.
The enhancement options being discussed include radical extension of human health-span, eradication of disease, elimination of unnecessary suffering, and augmentation of human intellectual, physical, and emotional capacities. Other transhumanist themes include space colonization and the possibility of creating superintelligent machines, along with other potential developments that could profoundly alter the human condition. The ambit is not limited to gadgets and medicine, but encompasses also economic, social, institutional designs, cultural development, and psychological skills and techniques.
Transhumanists view human nature as a work-in-progress, a half-baked beginning that we can learn to remold in desirable ways. Current humanity need not be the endpoint of evolution. Transhumanists hope that by responsible use of science, technology, and other rational means we shall eventually manage to become posthuman, beings with vastly greater capacities than present human beings have.
What most transhumanists do not understand is that the people who are at the top of the transhumanist movement have very dark agendas. These people are very controlling and believe they are superior to humans. For these reasons, they believe they have the right to rule over the human race. Genetic engineering, nanotechnology and scalar weapons are some of the tools they are using to control and harm us.
The human body is not only matter-based but also energy-based
The human body is a very complex system that has many different layers. The layers made of matter are only half of the human body. The other half is made of energy systems, such as the chakras, the meridians and the different layers of identities (i.e., soul, spirit, over-soul). The matter-based and energy-based system of the human body work in unison with each other to allow us to experience life. When we replace our body parts with artificial parts, it disrupts the synchronicity between these essential systems of our body.
The heart is a great example of an organ that when replaced with an artificial heart, it can disrupt the normal functions of all the systems of the human body, resulting in health problems. The heart is not just an organ that pumps blood throughout the body. It also has the abilities to think and feel. However, these two abilities occur in the structuralized energy that surrounds the heart. With the abilities to think and feel, the heart can transform beliefs held by the mind. Because the heart feels, it is one of the main organs where emotions are manifested. For strong evidence that the heart has intelligence, visit HeartMath.org.
In certain ways, the heart is more superior to the brain. Did you know that within about 20 days after conception, the heart starts to function, but the brain does not function until after roughly 90 days? This information tells us that the heart may play a bigger role than the brain in the development of human biology.
Technology should be used with responsibility
Technology should be incorporated into the human body in a harmonious way. When we start replacing body parts with nanotechnology and other artificial organs without understanding how they affect the overall human biology, we start to lose our humanity, and in the long-run we become more like androids or soulless beings. As a result, we start to lose our connection with the loving energy of Creation, causing us to lack love, emotions and empathy. As this continues, it will eventually cause the destruction of our souls; therefore, human beings that follow this path of relying too much on technology to evolve will eventually become extinct in the future.
Technology is a great blessing when it is used in harmony with nature, because it can help us evolve into amazing beings. On the other hand, if technology is used to destroy nature, it can cause the extinction of the human race.
The video below does a great job covering information about the dark side of transhumanism, genetic engineering, nanotechnology and geoengineering. If you are interested in these subjects, I recommend watching it. By adding this film in this article does not mean that I agree with everything in it. As always, use your intuition to help you discern the information in this video.
